How To Burn 2 DVDs from 1 DVD I know how..but.....

posted by TootsiesmominTn at 5 months ago

Greetings

Maybe someone would face me in the right direction.

1. I have 1 DVD that is too large and will play on any DVD player and Windows Media Player. It  stops and goes - toward the end. It is 4 1/2 hours long. Something like 4444mb, it's alittle over 4.7 GB.

2. I want to make 2 DVDs out of it.

3. I have it downloaded on my 'puter, and there are:

                  2    .BUP files

                  2    .IFO files

and...      5    .VOB files...of the actual movie (1-2-3-4-5 parts)

4.  What I have done...when I add the two .BUP files and the two .IFO files with the first 3 .VOB files, the little window comes up and says .VOB 4 file and .VOB   5 file is missing and do I want to go on even with the complication   wrong. So I did. Even with the second DVD which had both .BUP files and .IFO files again, only with the last two parts of the movie .VOB  4 file and .VOB 5 file.

They will play on the DVD player, but not my Windows Media Player.

5. My question is: What would be the proper  files to ADD to make this work on my Windows Media player AND my DVD player?

Should I use only 1 of the BUP and 1 IFO per DVD?

Example: First DVD = 1.bup  + 1 .ifo  + parts 1,2 &3 vob = 1st DVD.

                   Second DVD = 1.bup  + 1.ifo + parts 4,5 = 2nd DVD.

Thanks for any insight and help

I would do this.

1. make your whole dvd 4 1/2 hours to one mpeg file with Nerovision.

2. Split that 1 mpeg file in 2 mpeg files

2. Make then 2 seperate dvd videos from that files with Nerovision
